Sweatshirt Lover

I have been FULLY on board with the athleisure trend for a long time now but over the past few months I have fallen completely in love with sweatshirts!  They are so darn comfortable and easy to wear–always have been though.  However, now there are just really cute options.  For that reason I always find one in my cart, ha.  My latest purchase?  This adidas number.  I LOVE the black on black.  So chic right?  And the detailing on the sleeves and hem?  Everything.  What surpised me though was the material.  It feels so good.  [wearing an xs]

I wore outfit on Saturday when we went out to grab some lunch.  We ended up running into a bunch of Ethan’s friends so we stayed and watched the UK game with them and then came home, grabbed the animals and headed straight down to my Dad’s lake house.  We had my sister and her friends over the night before to celebrate her 21st birthday (snacks, drinks, loads of cute balloons && fun props for a photo booth included!) so a night in being lazy and ordering pizza sounded so perfect.

I hope you all had some lounge time this weekend as well!  We have some busy (but super fun) weekends coming up so I was super thankful that this one was relaxing!

ps–as I was writing this post I stumbled across these sunglasses in gold.  I have (and love) the black already and I’ve have been waititng for the other colors to come back in stock forever so I immedately bought a pair.  I highly suggest you snag some for Spring & Summer!

pss–be sure to check out the new goodies that I’ve bought recently here if you haven’t already!

The Caaaa-utest Sweatshirt!

Goodness–I do not know why it took me so long to buy this sweatshirt!  I saw it online a while back and I liked it but I never pulled the trigger.  But, I ended up buying it last week and it came in on Friday and I could NOT love it more.  See, here’s the beauty of it… it feels like a comfy sweatshirt but it looks like a cute sweater becuase of the cut, fit and caaaa-ute sleeves!  Perfection.  [wearing an xs]

&& here’s the other thing, I cannot believe I bought it in red.  So not me, at all!  But for some reason I loved this color with the texture.  I wore it to brunch yesterday with these fur mules that are getting lots of wear.  They’re easy & fun!  If you’re not into the faux fur then these are a great option too!

I hope you all are having a really good weekend! 🙂

Keeping it casual for Super Bowl Sunday

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  I’ve never understood why the Super Bowl isn’t on a Saturday.  Wouldn’t it be much more fun to pig out and have a party for the game if it was on a Saturday night?!  But no one asked me, haha!

However–I do have a new found like for the Super Bowl becuase Ethan and I met on this weekend!  So it’s actually our “meet-aversary”.  I know that’s not a real thing, but hey–any reason to celebrate something is a good one in my book!

We have a low key evening going on over here.  I wore this outfit to meet Ethan’s fam for an early dinner tonight and now we’re settled in at home watching the game.  (aka, I am blogging and online shopping while pausing for commercials)

I’ve worn this jacket a million times (twice just this weekend) but I love that becuase it’s such a good feeling to spend money on something that definitely ends up being worth it.  I highly suggest snagging one for yourself. It comes in 5 other colors now too!  [wearing an xs]

On the way out the door to dinner I reached in my drawer and randomly found a lipstick that I haven’t used in a while and I forgot how much I LOVE it.  For me, this is the perfect nude.  [color: Cherish]

Hope you all have had a good weekend! Muah!

The One-Piece Swim Trend

Target Bathing Suit [under $50] || Quay High Key Sunglasses

The trend of one-piece bathing suits was around last Summer and it definitely is not going anywhere!  It’s still around for your Winter escape trips and will still be here when Spring Break & Summer rolls around too.

We didn’t have a beach trip planned last year so I was behind on the swim search and by the time I started looking for a new one-piece I didn’t end up finding one I loved.  So I was determined to change that this year!

I ordered several bathing suits…

This one shoulder option was really cute but I wanted something a little more fun for our Miami trip.

&& this black option ended up being my second favorite!  I might be keeping this one to sport in the coming months.  Be sure you look at the back–it’s the best part!

Sadly, this one did not fit well.  The sides gap really bad–no matter how tight I tied up the neck.  Bummer too because I loved the print.

But clearly this one was the winner!

I picked it because the price point was low, the print was bright and fun, the straps were adjustable & there was built in light padding.  (sooooo many options out there are only lined)  I actually didn’t even notice the bum of the suit until it came in the mail but I LOVE how it mirrors the front and is also scalloped! [wearing a small]

&& a few more options for you all to browse that I am loving….

Have you all jumped on board?  If so, write me on IG and let me know which one you choose! I love hearing from you all!

Chenille Cardigan

So after I wore this cardigan ALL weekend I figured that it needed to make an appearance on the blog!  Seriously–I wore it nonstop.  I had it on with this skirt and boots on Friday night for a friends surprise birthday party and then I wore it with jeans and these sneakers on Saturday when we went out to watch the basketball game at a bar and grab sushi after.

I had actually been looking for a longer black cardigan because I know how versatile they can be (especially as the months warm up some) and when I saw this one I knew it was perfect.  It was the material that sold me.  I mean, chenille?!  It feels truly amazing!  [wearing an xs, it does run big FYI]

Oh and these heels?  They are the BEST.  Under $100, can be dressed up or down, and they come in tons of colors.  I love the simplicity of them.

I am definitely beginning to get the Spring bug so get ready to see some warmer weather items on Weeeknd Wishing in the future.  && we’re actually headed to Miami on Friday too so I can’t wait to share that with you all!
