Every year, about this time, I start adding mini skirts into my outfits as much as possible. It’s my trick to make myself feel like were one step closer to spring. It gets you out of your jeans and sweater rut and helps you shop your own closet. Just go searching for your favorite mini that you usually keep with your warm weather clothes and then add some tall boots and an oversized sweater! I am sure these are pieces you all have some version of in your closet!
Happy Monday, loves! I’m kicking off the week ahead of us by sharing a fun outfit and 3 podcasts I listened to last week. My sweater is a new one and I am in love! I cannot get enough of the texture and I am feeling the oversized slouchy fit. I think it will be the perfect one to pair with denim shorts in the summer too. I always like to have knits like this to throw on with them over a bathing suit. It also comes in lilac. [wearing a small]
Ethan and I went to a 5:30 spin class on Monday and when we were on our way home he told me he made some reservations for us. I was honestly so puzzled and I said, “oh really, for what” haha–Valentine’s Day snuck up on me this year! I’m really looking forward to a mid-week date night at our favorite Lexington restaurant though (I quickly guessed that we were going to Portofinos since we were driving right past it when he said that, haha)!
I’m excited to share today’s post with you all because it is a little bit different. It’s a recipe! An easy crockpot recipe–white chicken chili! This is one that my mom has done for years and it has always been one of our faves. Ethan loves it too so it’s a meal we do it pretty often at our house now. Bonus: It makes plenty for leftovers too!
