My wardrobe is full of blacks, greys, whites and tans. But neon is a HUGE trend right now so I wanted to find a way to add a pop of color into my closet. These neon block heels were the perfect way to do so!

Neon can be super obnoxious. I know because I have been the girl who indulged in it way too much at one point in time. Oops.
I wanted to jump on board with this trend but in a more minimal way this time around. For me that meant finding a bright color that was technically a neon, but a softer shade neon. (These arguably could be considered a yellow but I think they have a bright enough tent to be neon.) I also wanted it to be in the form of an accessory so I could still keep the rest of my outfit true to by style.
I came across these shoes at Target last week and I couldn’t pass them up because they checked those boxes AND they were a wearable heel (short height and block) with a minimal design (I love a plain ankle and toe strap).

I wore mine out for dinner + drinks last Friday and I can vouch that they are comfy. I paired them with black skinny jeans, a black t-shirt tucked in and a black boyfriend blazer.
I plan to take mine to Nashville in a couple weeks when I go for a bachelorette party for a fun look! xx
