Red Heels

Top || Jeans || Heels || Earrings, similar || Necklace || Handbag

I think it’s always good idea to buy a couple of fun tops each Summer.  Ones that you can wear with jeans and heels on a night out or with jean shorts and flip flops for a day time lunch.  This little red number certainly fits that bill!  I have worn it too many times to count in the past few weeks.  I love that it’s a bold color, is one shoulder, and has the cutest ruffle detailing. [wearing a small]

&& I can’t even begin to tell you all how much I am loving these heels!  A classic style–but this color helps them make a statement.  They also come in neutral options and would be a great shoe to have for weddings and cocktail events. [runs true to size]

I wore this outfit when we went out for mexican and margs with friends in NYC.  We sat outside at the Cascabel Taqueria on the Upper East Side and had the best night.  Try it out if you are looking for a casual place!  We snapped these photos on the balcony of our room before we headed out.  We stayed at The Viceroy Central Park for this trip and I would recommend it!  The location was great–close to several different areas of the city, the decor was chic–white black and brushed gold and the rooftop bar is a dream–nice view of the park and a great atmosphere.

Hope you all had a great weekend!  Ours flew by, per usual but it was a good one none the less!

Travel Diary: rewardStyle Conference Recap Day 1 #rsthecon

Heads up–my next couple blog posts are going to be just a tad different than the norm && I am oh, so excited about that!  I am currently at the rewardStyle Conference in Dallas and I want to take you all along with me!  I will be sharing a quick recap of each day with you all as a part of my Travel Diary series.  But first… a little background about the conference for those of you that might not be familiar.

This is the 5th annual rewardStyle Conference (also known as #rStheCon, which you will see all over Instagram the next few days) and it is being held in Dallas this year at Hotel Crescent Court.  rewardStyle is an affiliate marketing company and platform–more specifically, it is the company behind LIKEtoKNOW.it which it allows my content that I create for you all to be monetized.  Meaning, I can share links that will direct you to the website where you can purchase the items that I share (clothes, shoes, accessories, home items, etc) and make a small commission if you choose to purchase.   Great for you all because it makes shopping super easy [completely takes the “ooooh, where did she get that?” out of the equation] and great for me because it allows me to do what I LOVE.  rewardStyle is a platform that has brought me amazing tools–ex.. the ‘Shop My Instagram’ tab on Weekend Wishing, the ability for you all to receive emails (if you choose) with product links after you ‘like’ a photo on IG, && most recently the totally ahhh-maze LIKEtoKNOW.it app (where you can see product details immediately after you take a screenshot of my photo that I have posted on IG).

#rStheCon is a invitation only event where 200 digital style influencers get to come together for a few days to learn from each other & industry experts, meet and mingle together at various events & [most importantly wink, wink] attend the epic parties they throw!  I will be snapping a bunch of pics to share with you all here and I will also have ton of behind-the-scenes footage on my IG Story!

DAY 1:

The comfiest, coziest travel attire. #guilty These pants–so soft & so amaze. [I sized up for a slouchy fit.  You can get by with it because there’s a drawstring waist.]

Sweater || Joggers || Slides || Suitcase || Sunglasses

Giving these slides a go for the first time and I have to say, I’m hooked. [wearing a 38 and I’m usually a size 7.5]

How cute are these bikes?! The license plates say SCREENSHOT.

Dress || Bag || Slides || Sunglasses

&& you know I had to snap a pic in front of them after a latte!  You NEED this dress btw.  It’s a great one to throw on during the summer to and from the pool or just with sneaks for lunch. [wearing an xs]

We grabbed a quick bite across from our hotel & it was so nice to sit outside.

Rosé to kick things off, of course!

rewardStyle has done such a good job filling the hotel with all their cuteness!

Kicking off the conference with a rooftop pool party thanks to Sole Society!

Romper || Heels || Sunglasses || Earrings || Bag

Ok… && now it’s time for Day 2 to get rolling.  Happy Friday, loves!  PS:  Don’t forget to sign up for the giveaway I have going on right now here.

By The Way.

Revolve is creeping very high up the top of my list of retailers to order from online.  I think their website is good, their selection is so fresh, their shipping is a dream [free & seriously so fast] and I have had positive experiences with their customer service.

However, like any site that carries many brands it can be a little overwhelming to browse.  Before we went on our trip to Miami in January, I came across the brand By The Way. that Revolve carries and I fell in love.  They have some great pieces that are on style and fall at good price points.

My latest purchase?  This denim jacket.  LOVE!  I cannot get enough of the lighter wash and I think the embroidery on the back is subtle but so cute.  [wearing a small]

When we were wandering around Broughton Street in Savannah we ended up in a neat vintage store.  With the help of my bestie, I got three cheeky little pins to add to the front of the jacket.  So when you see me wearing it now, it will have that little addition!

Oh, and if you have a trip soon where you will be walking around and need a casual day time outfit then I highly suggest this skort!  [sized up one, wearing a 2 and it is a bit large on me so if you want a more fitted look I would go with your normal size]

ps–I’m hoping on a plane today!  More on that to come soon… && in the meantime, follow along with me on my IG story.  Happy Friday Eve!

Coffee Dates in Savannah

We were in Savannah a couple weekends ago and snapped these photos while wandering through Forsyth Park.  I will do a full Travel Diary recap of our trip soon, but in the meantime I wanted to share these with you all.

This is the thing I probably look forward to most about traveling–getting up and grabbing coffee and wandering around.

I usually get about half ready (some dry shampoo in my hair but don’t touch up my curls, some powder foundation and eyebrow pencil but don’t fool with the eye makeup) so I feel presentable but haven’t taken forever to get out the door.  Plus, I find getting ready in stages while on vacation helps so you don’t feel like you’ve wasted too long in front of the mirror.

&& I am always sure to pack something comfy to wear, aside from what I brought to sleep in and travel in.  Cue this SUPER soft crewneck.  You need it.  Need it! [wearing a small]

There’s just something about knowing that you’ve got a whole day ahead of you when you’re on a trip that is impossible to beat.  Combine that with a coffee buzz and I am one HAPPY camper.  I try to always make an effort to live in the moment during this time.  It sets the tone for the whole day!

What part of vacation & travel do you look forward to the most?

PS–stay tuned for a fun giveaway on the blog tomorrow!
