I wore this outfit on Sunday night to dinner at my best friends parent’s house and I loved it. I am all about carrying the of the shoulder trend into the fall months and this top will be just the number to do it with! It’s such an easy wear and I can’t wait to throw it on with leggings and boots too. Plus you will not believe the price–so cheap! I love finding super trendy items at a good price point because you never know how much wear you will actually get out of them. Same goes with these jeans.. The quality is not great on this pair but I was expecting that since they’re under $20, ha. But regardless, I was really happy with them (I just got them in the mail this past weekend) because I loved the way the rips were positioned on the legs and I like length. I think I will wear them lots in the next couple months so they were definitely worth the buy. I’m wearing a small here for sizing reference.
&& on an even brighter note, I was so thankful to see someone post on IG this morning reminding us of a long weekend ahead! That will definitely be what is getting me through this week!
Friday Eve, y’all! I’m so glad we’re finally on the downhill slope this week–it’s seemed like a long one to me! But the weekend is right around the corner now and I am hoping the weather is nice because we are planning to squeeze a bit of time in at the lake and have a fun Olympic themed event with friends to go to as well. [More on that later!] This outfit is my go-to for a Saturday morning coffee run and all the details are linked below. I love this top and this one is so similar and even a little cuter in my book because of the length. I know I’ll be throwing this top on with leggings and tennies (& maybe even a leather jacket) soon as temperatures get cooler.

This dress was part of my second round of buys from the #NSale and I am so glad I went back for it! I think it’s my favorite piece that I bought that falls in the category of wear now & later, which is important right? Because I know it’s so rewarding to snag a pair of boots you’ve wanted since last season on sale but let’s be honest it’s so hard knowing you can’t throw them on for a few months! (&& yes I was swooning in the heat while we took the pics you see above, ha!) But I really wanted to give you all an idea of how cute this dress will be in the fall and how great it pairs with wedges or flip flops now too. The great part about this piece [other than the $32 sale price, amaze] is that it’s flowy, easy to wear and has cute bell sleeves. This means you can dress it up or down and even throw it on when you’re having a “I’m just not feeling it day” and still look put together. There’s a cute cut out at the top of the back and it comes in several other colors and prints. I have to say though, I’m always a sucker for black in an item like this–I think a darker color can make it seem like an even more quality item. The brand is Lush and it has been a favorite of mine from Nordstrom for a while now in terms of really affordable, everyday pieces. They have some other great basics included in the Nordstrom Anniversary sale too like this blouse, this top, this tunic and these thicker leggings. Also–these boots have been fully restocked! Yay! They are on sale for $160 soon but will go back to to $240 soon!
ps, are you all into the hats for Fall? I know they’re going to be a huge trend this year and I’m jumping right on board! This one is under $30 and will guarantee you an out when you just don’t have the energy to do the whole hair washing, drying, curling process. Snag one while this dark tan color is still available! I’ll be pairing it with these OTK boots alllll the time because I love the colors together.
Now we just need to get over this heat wave! Happy Hump Day! Muah!
Crazy that this coat is only $38! I have the exact one that is in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and so can tell you this one is good buy. I mean–when you can get a good coat at the price of a sweater, it’s like why not right? I am loving this and this in the sale right now too. I’m ordering one.. I just can’t decide which yet! They’re both super similar to the one in the snapshot above.
I guess I am over-wearing this hat, right? Too much? I can’t help it! I love it that much! I do have my eye on this one as well–might have to order it to mix in. I have it paired here with classic black separates and these new André Assous shoes (that you’ve probably seen on my IG). They’re really comfortable and I love the height for daytime wear. I got these Ray-Bans back in February but they have definitely become a summer staple for me because I love how they pair with simple outfits. If you’re searching for a pair then I highly recommend this larger size.
I took a long shower last night and was in bed in my pjs by like 9:30. Granted I was still working away on my laptop for a bit but still–it felt so good! I hope you all are able to hop in bed early one night this week too!
