The Perfect Blush Top

Top [under $100] || Shorts, similar || Steve Madden Heels  || Gucci Chain Wallet || Chloe Sunglasses, Color: Gold Transparent Grey || Lips, Color: Stripped || Sunless Tan [the best!]

I liked this top when I saw it online and then I got it in the mail and I loved it and then I wore it and I was obsessed!  The color was what sold me–not too bright but not dull either and flattering on many skin and hair types.  The texture and the way it moves is what will keep me wearing it though!

It also has straps that you can wear over your shoulders if you’d perfer. [wearing a small]

I plan on wearing it with jeans and closed toe pumps until it warms up more around here.

&& speaking of pumps–I am dying for a white pair to carry me into Spring.  I don’t want a chunky heel or for them to be patent leather.  Just a classic pair with a pointed toe.  As soon as I find a pair I am snagging them!

Oh, and happy Hump Day!

Travel Diary: Miami

Heyyyyy Miami!  Hellooooo South Beach! Ethan and I just got back from a long weekend there and it was the first time either of us had been.  We had such a good time and didn’t get to go to nearly as many places as we would have liked so we will definitely be back.  Here is a little recap of the places we did squeeze in.  If you all are going to be in the area soon and have any questions please feel free to ask me!  I’ll be happy to give you more feedback!

Keeping it casual for Super Bowl Sunday

BlankNYC Suede Jacket || Stripe Tee || Topshop Jeans || Slip-on Sneakers || Quay High Key Sunglasses || Givenchy Handbag, less expensive dupe found here || Earrings || Ring || Lips, color is Cherish

Happy Super Bowl Sunday!  I’ve never understood why the Super Bowl isn’t on a Saturday.  Wouldn’t it be much more fun to pig out and have a party for the game if it was on a Saturday night?!  But no one asked me, haha!

However–I do have a new found like for the Super Bowl becuase Ethan and I met on this weekend!  So it’s actually our “meet-aversary”.  I know that’s not a real thing, but hey–any reason to celebrate something is a good one in my book!

We have a low key evening going on over here.  I wore this outfit to meet Ethan’s fam for an early dinner tonight and now we’re settled in at home watching the game.  (aka, I am blogging and online shopping while pausing for commercials)

I’ve worn this jacket a million times (twice just this weekend) but I love that becuase it’s such a good feeling to spend money on something that definitely ends up being worth it.  I highly suggest snagging one for yourself. It comes in 5 other colors now too!  [wearing an xs]

On the way out the door to dinner I reached in my drawer and randomly found a lipstick that I haven’t used in a while and I forgot how much I LOVE it.  For me, this is the perfect nude.  [color: Cherish]

Hope you all have had a good weekend! Muah!

90’s Jeans!

Crop Top || Levi’s Jeans || Steve Madden Heels [under $100] || Chloe Sunglasses, Color: Gold Transparent Grey || Gucci Chain Wallet

Ok–how crazy that the best pair of jeans I have bought in a long time are Levi’s?!  At first I was like are we really doing this again?  But then the lighter wash, straighter leg jeans really grew on me.  I’m actually super excited about the 90’s jean trend!

I ordered these jeans before our trip to Miami and I wore them lots when we were there.  Both nights to dinner and to brunch on Sunday too!  [wearing a 25]

&& I’m LOVING this crop top.  It’s fun to have a sassy little black top to throw on for date night every now and then, right?  [wearing a small]

I know my sunglasses are a tad dramatic (haha!) but I’m all about fun & sassy pairs for Spring!

CHEERS to the weekend, lovers!

The One-Piece Swim Trend

Target Bathing Suit [under $50] || Quay High Key Sunglasses

The trend of one-piece bathing suits was around last Summer and it definitely is not going anywhere!  It’s still around for your Winter escape trips and will still be here when Spring Break & Summer rolls around too.

We didn’t have a beach trip planned last year so I was behind on the swim search and by the time I started looking for a new one-piece I didn’t end up finding one I loved.  So I was determined to change that this year!

I ordered several bathing suits…

This one shoulder option was really cute but I wanted something a little more fun for our Miami trip.

&& this black option ended up being my second favorite!  I might be keeping this one to sport in the coming months.  Be sure you look at the back–it’s the best part!

Sadly, this one did not fit well.  The sides gap really bad–no matter how tight I tied up the neck.  Bummer too because I loved the print.

But clearly this one was the winner!

I picked it because the price point was low, the print was bright and fun, the straps were adjustable & there was built in light padding.  (sooooo many options out there are only lined)  I actually didn’t even notice the bum of the suit until it came in the mail but I LOVE how it mirrors the front and is also scalloped! [wearing a small]

&& a few more options for you all to browse that I am loving….

Have you all jumped on board?  If so, write me on IG and let me know which one you choose! I love hearing from you all!
