So very thankful for yet another Friday!  Who’s with me?!

Ethan had a birthday this past weekend and my sister has one this coming Monday so we’ve got some celebrating to do with our families this weekend and I couldn’t be happier.  I am one of those celebrate everything kind of people–every holiday, every little occassion. Love it.  So when it comes to birthdays, I’m all about it! Follow along on IG stories.  I’ll share tid bits of our weekend!

On to this outfit… I got this cross front top recently and yes, yes, yes.  I love!  It’s such a great one to have in your closet becuase it can be worn for so many occassions.  I always like finding a piece that can be worn out on the weekends, on a date night, to a family dinner or during the day and this top is just that.  And bonus.. it comes in at under $50, ships for free and is available in other colors.  [wearing an xs]

I knew I wanted a pair of heels similar to this so when I saw this suede pair I was sold.  I think it’s really important to have a peep toe shoe to wear now and transition into Spring with that doesn’t look too much like a summery sandal.  These have the perfect amount of substance to them so they can still balance an outfit out while allowing you to get away from boots/booties.  They can easily be worn now with jeans and sweaters but will also go well with denim skirts and tops when it warms up! I finally decided on a couple new pairs of jeans to try!  I knew I wanted another pair of Levi’s for Spring because I love these SO much so I am trying these (love the high rise and straight leg) and I also grabbed these (thinking they will be a great basic pair to have).

I have worn this jacket SO, SO much so I wanted to give this one a try too.  Obsessed with the fit and color!

I’ve wanted this tee forever so I added it to my cart so my total was enough to grab the 20% discount.  Had to, right?!  (I did save over $100 this way though!)

When I saw this top I knew I HAD to have it.  I love it under a moto jacket or paired with jeans and heels for date night.  I really wanted both colors!

Chic Mules

I wore this outfit to brunch this past Sunday (Bloody Mary bar, ummm yummm) and I loved it because it was comfy and casual yet the faux fur and soft sweater made me feel put together.  We snapped these pictures on the way downtown and it was so, so windy!  We barely got any that I could even use because everytime I stood up my hair blew across my face and I looked like a hot mess.  Ha!

However–I am in love with both these mules and this sweater so I had to share.  I feel like I would be doing a disservice to you all if I didn’t let you know how perfect this sweater is.  It is SUCH a good basic to have and so soft.  I got it in two colors on Saturday and I wore one that night, one to brunch the next day and even threw one back on to wear on Monday all day.  So, needless to say–it’s worth the $20. Ha! [wearing a small]

Also, totally crushing on these mules with faux fur inside.  Heaven on your feet!  If you order I would suggest sizing up. [wearing an 8]

Lips

It’s been warm here this weekend—windy, but warm none the less and it has been so nice!  It was perfect timing for pulling out my new mules that came in this week.  I was actually dying over these but I was not feeling that price tag.  Sooooo, when I came across these online was so happy!  I love the embroidery flower detail and the fun colors.  I ordered these (you have have seen me wearing them today on my IG story) at the same time and I also LOVE them!  [size up!  wearing an 8]

I paired them with this new tee (obsessed) and my favorite cardigan for a coffee and breakfast run with Ethan on Saturday.  I plan on wearing them with jeans and this sweater soon too!

This tee is actually my first Wildfox purchase and I know it won’t be my last.  I love how cheeky and playful their clothes are.  [wearing an xs]

&& I know I have gone into detail about this cardigan before (see here) but again–you.  all.  It’s just the best feeling thing evaaaaa.  The fact that it’s made of chenille is everything! [wearing an xs]

Ok–Grammy time!  Who’s watching?!  There’s nothing that I love more than a cozy Sunday night at home on a award show night.  Plus, the dresses are always so much more fun for this one.  Bring on the metallics, the bold color and the sequins!

A satin cami that you HAVE to add to your closet!

I text Ethan yesterday and said we should do a mini weekend trip to Charleston soon (we’ve both been but never together) and he responded and said let’s go next weekend.  Well, it just so happens that we’re free next weekend so I did a shoulder shrug and responded with an ok, lets book it.  I love to plan a big trip ahead of time–part of the fun is the planning and the getting excited–but, for a quickie weekend get away.. I love a last minute idea!

I may order a couple of things this weekend to take with me && I will definitely be packing this satin tank!  I loved it paired with this denim skirt but I also love it paired with jeans and heels.  In fact, I wore it to a late dinner when we were in Miami recently with these.  [wearing an xs]

This satin cami will surprise you.  So good.  Especially when you find out that it comes in at under $50!  I feel like every single other silk/lace cami I want is $150-200.  See this pretty little thing that I waaaaaant–but ouch!  So, I was super happy to finally find a less pricey alternative that doesn’t lack in terms of quality.  The brand is By The Way and  I hadn’t tried it before.  However–I’ll be ordering other goodies because this top is a gem.  I currently have this and this in my cart!

&& can we just talk about how oh so very happy I am that the denim mini is back?  [wearing a 4 US (Fits like a 0-2)]  I couldn’t get enough of it in high school and college and I am welcoming it right back into my closet with open arms.  No second thoughts here.

Easy Layers

I’ve been trying to be really good this week and eat healthy and go to barre classes and it feels SO good to be back in the swing of things.  However–I may have had a couple glasses of wine and some fried calimari  AND some sushi last night.  I don’t even regret it either.  It’s all about balance, right?!

Ok, on to this cardigan that I am LOVING.  It’s perfect to layer a long sleeve tee (you need this one) under now and I’m also planning to wear a silk cami under it soon.  [wearing a xs/s]

I threw on this outfit to go downstairs at our hotel when we were in Miami to grab coffee.  It was a rainy, cloudy day but it was kind of nice!  I also wore a similar version of this outfit on the plane when we were traveling.  Comfort is key, right?!
