Nothing beats a good white top, right? And they can be pretty hard to find. So many are way too sheer–or they have a drop shoulder–or they have a rolled up sleeve with button tab mid way up your arm, none of which are my favorite. But when I got this one in the mail I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is a thumbs up and the back of the top is a knit material. Makes it comfortable! [wearing an xs]

You all may have seen me mention the new show we’ve been watching on IG a couple days ago–The Missing. We just finished Season 1 last night and if like mysteries then it’s a must watch!

Ok, & on to the fun stuff–let’s talk shoes. Specifically let’s talk studded shoes. The silver studded accent trend is giving me LIFE. It’s probably my favorite trend for Spring right now! I am loving the silver contrast on the black options and also equally love it paired on top of the white and nude versions. I think it is the perfect way to add a little edge to your look, yet it is subtle enough to pair with shorts and dresses!
I have a feeling I will be going back for more, but these slides were my first purchase and I cannot say enough good things about them. I wanted a white pair that crossed over in an x and when I saw these at under $100 I was sold. I love a good wedge and I love a good heel–don’t get me wrong–but in reality I end up wearing my flats more often. Especially once shorts season is upon us. && this top is a yes, yes, yes in my book. I love a good basic that I can reach for time and time again and I was in need of a good v-neck option rather than a strappy cami. It runs true to size and the straps are adjustable. Not in a eww that kinda of cheapens the dress kind of way though.. more so in the oh, that’s really helpful kind of way. [wearing an xs]
The lace makes it classic but the style of it makes it unique. It makes enough of a statement so you don’t have to fuss with finding a great necklace or earrings to compliment it. I like it paired with a simple shoe too.
And most importantly, it’s actually a piece that I would consider an easy to wear dress. It’s not one that you feel like you can’t ride in the car in on the way to your event or have a meal in. #priorities

One of our favorite things to do when we travel is try out a new coffee shop. I get so excited looking for a new spot before we head to a city. I always search IG and the internet for options ahead of time so we have some sort of a game plan when we arrive. Since it’s the first stop of the day we never want to have the search for a latte holding us up when we are ready to get out the door and we also never want to end up at a Starbucks–where’s the fun in that?
My order is always the same though wherever we go: Latte with Skim Milk and Sugar Free (if available) Vanilla. Sometimes I get it iced and sometimes I get hot depending on my mood, not depending on the weather, haha. && I will admit, I am drawn to any coffee shop that has marble tables. Can’t lie!
On our recent weekend trip to Charleston we tried The Rise Coffee bar (seen above) and Black Tap Coffee. Both were good but our favorite was definitely Rise. It’s connected to the Restoration Hotel and after seeing the lobby [and the bathroom, haha]–I can tell you that I for sure want to stay there soon. The vibe is oooh SO good!
I ordered this grey top because I thought it would be great for casual weekend wear and also perfect to throw on over my workout tank with leggings when I’m headed to or from spin class. Is the back not too cute?! Also it’s SOO soft. [wearing a small]
