The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is open to shop–NOW! I am SO excited! The last few days you had to have a Nordstrom card to shop the sale but now it’s fair game for everyone. && trust me the items included this year are good–and they will go back up to full price soon so shop them quick while they are discounted.
I am SO excited to share this with you all–I’m taking you through some of the items I purchased in this video. I think this gives you a much better look at the items! I also included my sizing on all items for reference. Give it a watch and just let me know if you have any questions.
This suede moto jacket is one of my favorite finds from the #nsale and judging by this past year, I think it will be one of my most worn items too! I got last years version of this suede jacket and I have worn it SO many times so there was no way I was passing this one up! This year the jacket does not include the belt so it is a little lighter. A size xs fit me but that is the size I have in my other jacket so I decided to go with a small so I have one that is a little more roomy for layering sweaters under. The real test will be to see if I can make it to the end of the sale without buying the grey version too! This jacket sells FAST so if you see your size don’t hesitate to order. I will let you all know when it is restocked in additional sizes too.
This is how I would wear the jacket now–with a light summer dress and sneaks. I just layer the jacket over my shoulders when we’re inside and the AC is cranked up. I added black accessories–this trusty all black handbag, these super fun long tassel earrings and these oversized mirrored sunglasses (which are also on sale) for dinner with Ethan’s fam to celebrate his Dad’s birthday tonight!

Just remember–things will sell out super fast so if you are on the fence about an item I suggest going ahead and grabbing it while they still have your size. Then you can try it on in person when your order arrives and make your final decision.
I got up super early this morning and looked at every single item included in the sale! Seriously, every one. && there are a lot of great goodies.

Cashmere pieces were my number one goal for the sale. I got a grey cashmere wrap last year and it is my most used item in my closet. Especially for travel. So this item and this item were musts!
I knew I was going to buy a moto jacket and I was so excited to see this color!
I have been on the hunt for black sneakers and I fell in love with these!
I am OBSESSED with these sunnies (I already have them in two colors) so when I saw this option included in the sale I had to have it!
&& I couldn’t check out without a few good lounge pieces. You all know me and comfort. So excited about these and these!
The items I purchased last year were my go-to pieces all Fall and Winter and I cannot wait to pull them out again this year. That is how I know it is smart to spend the money on these items now. ps, based on the items I viewed this morning I know I will be making an entire order on active wear. So many good leggings, tanks, sweatshirts and tennis shoes so stay tuned.
Apparently I am the girl who snaps pics of her outfit at a local, casual resturant. Yep, that’s me haha! But it is important to me to show you all outfits that I wear in my real life. And this is an outfit that I wore out to get some ceviche and a marg with Ethan. It’s easy and these earrings make it fun, right?! Those colorful pom poms won me over! Bonus: This deep v tank is on sale now for only $18! Ive worn it lots because you can dress it up or down. [wearing a small in the tank and bralette]
I know we are in the heat of Summer right now, hence my outfit above, ha! And even though I, for one, am not ready for it to be over–I am still really excited for warm nights on the patio and days spent on the lake–but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t also excited about the idea of new sweaters, boots and moto jackets! That’s the beauty of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale being right around the corner. I can spend some time picking out new items for the seasons ahead, buy them on sale and then hop right back into my swimsuit! And when the cooler temps hit I will have new goodies to pull back out.
Sooooo, don’t forget the sale begins on Thursday and if you are a Nordstrom cardholder then you can shop the sale right away. Trust me you want to do this because items sell SO quickly. Apply now so you have access! And remember, you can always choose to purchase with your Nordstrom card or one of your existing cards.

I think it’s always good idea to buy a couple of fun tops each Summer. Ones that you can wear with jeans and heels on a night out or with jean shorts and flip flops for a day time lunch. This little red number certainly fits that bill! I have worn it too many times to count in the past few weeks. I love that it’s a bold color, is one shoulder, and has the cutest ruffle detailing. && I can’t even begin to tell you all how much I am loving these heels! A classic style–but this color helps them make a statement. They also come in neutral options and would be a great shoe to have for weddings and cocktail events. [runs true to size]
I wore this outfit when we went out for mexican and margs with friends in NYC. We sat outside at the Cascabel Taqueria on the Upper East Side and had the best night. Try it out if you are looking for a casual place! We snapped these photos on the balcony of our room before we headed out. We stayed at The Viceroy Central Park for this trip and I would recommend it! The location was great–close to several different areas of the city, the decor was chic–white black and brushed gold and the rooftop bar is a dream–nice view of the park and a great atmosphere.
