Hey, babes. Happy Monday. I’ve already had chocolate chip pancakes and a brownie today, so, there’s that. I don’t think a low calorie count is going to be my biggest accomplishment today. But that’s ok. Sometimes you just have to give in to your sweet tooth and not even worry about it.
Did you all watch the Grammys last night? We did! I was underwhelmed with the red carpet, loved the Gaga performance, was shocked Despacito didn’t win but was very happy that Bruno swept the awards, thought Kesha (are we still doing Ke$ha or is that finally over?) needed to take a breath and sing rather than yell and was obsessed with Elton John and Miley’s song! Ok, I think that about covers it. What did you all think?
On to the #ootd details.. The second I saw this white sweatshirt I knew I wanted it. I love the relaxed fit and the lace up grommet detail. They take a basic to the next level! The material is a perfect weight too. It has a very thin fleece lining so will be perfect to take into Spring on throw on over your workout gear. In fact, since this a loose fitting item I think I will be wearing it the most with black leggings and sneakers. [runs big, wearing an xs]
&& my sneakers are new and I am obsessed. They are so comfy (I think the slight platform really helps with support) and a great updated alternative to my Stan Smiths that I have worn so much. The color combination is called white and vast grey and I think it will sell quickly so buy now if you love them! It’s hard to find unique color combinations that are still SUPER neutral, so when I come across some I jump on it. [size down, I usually wear a 7.5 and I got these in a 6.5]
I updated the shop tab with some really, REALLY good sale finds this past weekend. So be sure to shop those here. Some of those cuties from Nordstrom Rack are such steals, right? And I really need to stock up on some of those $20 workout tanks. The 50 sweaters under $50 are also linked under that same tab so you can shop them too in case you missed that post last week.
