I found this palm print romper from Loft before we left for our trip to DC and I almost bought it but then I saw this dress in a similar print and decided on it instead. Don’t get me wrong–I think the romper is super cute but I thought I could get more wear out of the dress right now. I tend to like dresses that have a tie around the waist because it allows you to adjust the length. Tie it snug and blouse it out more for a shorter length or just let it hang and tie it loosely for a longer look! Keep this dress in mind if you are heading on a trip soon because it’s a good packing dress–doesn’t take up hardly any room in your bag and also doesn’t come out looking like crazy wrinkled mess. && how fun are these round glasses? I love the 60’s vibe they give and have been wearing them tons!
We had such a fun time the day these pics were taken! We snapped them first thing when we got into Georgetown and then headed for to Paolo’s Ristorante for some bottomless mimosas and a thin crust margherita pizza. The place was so cute and I loved that we could still enjoy the weather because it was open to the outside. We finished up the day by doing some wandering around looking at the old houses and shopping. Don’t you worry though–I made sure we got some Sprinkles before leaving. It actually started raining and I was like, “OMG the cupcakes” and made Ethan start running towards the store with me! That’s dedication, right?
