I made another purchase from my one of my all time favorite designers and I couldn’t be happier. The Anine Bing Rory Denim Jacket is now a staple in my closest!
Growing up I had so many denim jackets. And to be honest, I never really found one that was perfect. Not one that fit the way I wanted, was the right wash and was comfortable. So, in the past few years I had kind of given up on shopping them even though it is a closet staple that I would like to have.
But… when I was browsing the Anine Bing new arrivals section (as I do every single Tuesday when new things are added to the site) recently I came across their Rory denim jacket. It was love at first sight.
And it got even better when I saw the jacket in person.
The weight of it is a TRUE denim. No stretch or thin feeling. It has a heaviness to it that only quality denim can achieve. It is also a worn in fabric, which is key to giving you a laid back feel. My favorite part though, is the fit. It is oversized and relaxed. This means it is super comfortable to layer over top of something and move around in. The drop length under the arm is roomy. The length is great too because it comes below the waist.
I ordered a size M at first because that was all that was in stock and it was too big. So I returned for a S when they restocked and it’s perfect! I loved the oversized feel, but if you are wanting a more true fit then definitely size down as it does run large.
I’m excited to have this one in my closet for years to come!
