We have taken the corona virus very seriously and are doing our part by staying home as much as possible. We’re currently only leaving the house to go pick up curbside orders take walks in the neighborhood.
I’ve been working out, showering and getting ready every morning but when it comes to getting dressed, I can’t say I have worn many “real” clothes. My daily outfits have included a lot of lounge wear and this sweat set has been one of my favorite things to wear.
I actually picked this set up about a month ago when I was at the mall one day. I stopped in Aerie to try on these joggers and this hoodie that I had been wanting to try. Much to my dismay, I had to pass on those because the joggers just were not flattering on me. I have a really, really hard time finding joggers that are the right fit. I like them to be cropped above the ankle (almost all are too long on me) and a looser fit around my calves.
I really had my mind set on a matching set. Loooove a matching set of sweats right now!! So, I decided to try on the Sunday soft shorts. I ended up really liking them and decided to get them instead since they also had a matching top.
I love how the set is a soft sweatsuit material on the outside but has a terry cloth finish on the interior. It makes it wearable into the warmer months too. I also love how there’s a slight distressing around the arms and neck on the sweatshirt and the shorts have a raw hem.
TOP – I think this one runs small. I got a medium. That’s the only size I tried on, but I don’t think I could have gone any smaller unless I was ok with it fitting a bit more cropped.
BOTTOM – These are more true to size. I got a medium in mine too but they are very generous and oversized. I love the comfy fit of mine and the extra length they have but I would say to take your normal size or go down one if you want them to be as fitted and short as they are featured on the website.
&& just a heads up – I am going to share a list of movies/shows/documentaries to watch, a post about what I have ordered online recently and an overview of my favorite podcasts in the next few days. Trying to publish things that might help during these “stay home” days.
