I feel like I have had this suede jacket in my closet forever. I bought it a few years back and it has been a staple ever since.
I wear it with everything from shorts to dresses but the majority of the time I use it to dress up a jeans + sneakers look. (You all know those are my favorites anyways.)
I think the color name of mine is Midnight Toker. Since this style jacket has been so popular, they have made several similar brown/tan shades over the years. I like so many of them and I even used to have a second jacket that was more of a rich chestnut color. The style of that one did not have the belt. Sadly, my purple shampoo busted on it during a trip to California so I had to toss it. Point being–any shade in this family would be a versatile option to have this jacket in so don’t be too picky.
Mine is an xs (from the brand Blank NYC) and it fits perfectly. However, I would like to have one that is a bigger size as well so I had the option of wearing one at times that had a looser fit.

I wore this outfit on Monday night when we went out with sushi with my dad. That is usually our beginning of the week routine. I always look forward to it too because it helps ease back into the week. This week I decided to throw on some white sneakers with the look to brighten it up a bit since it is otherwise an all black look.

CREWNECK SWEATER I live in thin crewneck sweaters. Definitely a closet staple for me. Lately I have been loving Mango for great basics like this.
JEANS These jeans are on repeat (they have been been since September of last year, haha) and on sale!
SNEAKERS Mine are Dolce Vita but they are a few years old so they are not available anymore. Sorry! I love their low profile sneakers though so I hope they do some edgy options again in the future. && these are not sneakers but when I was on their site I fell in love with this white heeled sandal!
GOLD NECKLACE My paperclip necklace is sold out (it was from J.Crew) so I linked a similar one below. I bought my initial charm that I wear on mine at a jewelry store in London. You can shop it HERE.
SILVER NECKLACE My necklace is the 17in option and I requested the beginning letter be done in lowercase.
SUNGLASSES My exact sunglasses are old. They were a BP. brand pair from Nordstrom originally. These, these and these are similar.
HANDBAG I have had this bag for years and still love it. It looks brand new even though I have traveled with it, carried heavy items, etc. I love how structured it is. Mine is the MEDIUM size in the grained leather.
I hope the next time I wear this outfit I will be able to skip the long-sleeve sweater underneath because it’s warmer. But, in Kentucky you just never know. It could be hot or snowing in April, ha!
