There’s nothing better than a little time spent relaxing on the couch. Right?? Here’s what has been on our tv lately…
succession The best drama I have watched in a really long time. SO good. Can’t recommend this one enough! It’s an HBO series about a very wealthy family in NYC that runs a very powerful media conglomerate. The characters are all interesting and witty and each one has their own set of secrets. We spun through the first series quickly (because I could not stop watching) so I am pumped that there’s going to be a second season.
very cavallari Quite the contrast to Succession, ha! This easy watch is a reality show documenting Kristin Cavallari and her team that runs her jewelry and home line, Uncommon James. If you watched The Hills and Laguna Beach, then you need to give in and watch this drama too! Bonus, even Ethan will kind of watch with me because Kristins husband was a famous football player and his sarcasm and nonchalant attitude is pretty entertaining.
sharp objects This is another HBO show but it’s a thriller mystery based on a Gillian Flynn book. A detective returns to her home town to report on the murder of two girls and is forced to face her personal issues. I actually read this book a few years ago, but don’t remember much about it. We are two episodes into the series and I just remembered in a flashback when I was brushing my teeth last night who was responsible for the murders. I am still going to watch the rest of the series though because there’s a lot of pieces I still don’t remember!
Have you all watched any of these? Any other good recommendations for us? I have heard Schitts Creek is really funny so I might start that next. I hear it’s an easy watch!
