I got these jeans in the mail on Tuesday and immediately knew we had to shoot them that evening so I could get a review up for you all asap!
They are the high waisted, light wash, straight leg pair of my dreams! I have been wanting a pair just like this for what seems like years now. The key to buying denim without any stretch (100% cotton)–at least for Levi’s–is to size up!! Just for reference.. in regular stretch skinny fit jeans I will usually wear a 25. In other cotton jeans I have taken a 26 and been fine. For this pair I had to size up to a 27 for them to fit. There’s no way I could have worn anything smaller. In fact, I bet I could even wear one size larger for a slouchier fit. If I catch these on sale I will be tempted to buy another pair so I have two sizes to flip back and forth between. And FYI, the tee that I have paired them with is an old one. The option I tagged for you all to shop here is not exactly similar but it is also from Rebecca Minkoff.
