My givenchy logo slides were probably my most worn pair of shoes last summer. I get asked about them a lot so I am going to give you all the sizing details here. I also rounded up plenty of IG pics featuring them so you can get an idea of how I’ve styled them.
More often that not I am a size 7.5 in shoes. In theses givenchy slides I wear a size 38EU. They are the perfect length. On the Nordstrom site it lists this size as ‘8US/38EU’. If I went by that US vs EU sizing pairing I probably would have ordered a 37EU–however, I heard that these ran small so I went ahead and got mine in 38EU. I am glad I did because they are perf.
Lots of people say these slides run wide. And I do think that is true, but I happen to really like that for this particular shoe. The looser fit gives it a more laid-back and casual feel.
Since these are made of a rubber material, they are perfect for summertime. You can wear these to the pool, lake or beach with no worries. I also wore mine lots to and from workouts, to grab coffee on the weekends and to the airport for travel with joggers. The price tag is steep but worth every penny in my opinion. Mine still look brand new and I was NOT careful with them last year.
