I love Fridays. [Who doesn’t, right?] And I love reading blogs on Fridays. There’s just something about the anticipation of the weekend that makes me think, well if it’s too early to have a glass of wine then how about I scope out what some of my favorite bloggers are up to instead. So that being said, I have been thinking a while about adding a fun Friday series to Weekend Wishing and I am finally going for it!
The first edition of #fridayvibes is up today [read on below!] and my hope is that this series will help you all to get to know me a little better. I would love to make it something you all want to read so please give me some feedback! I plan to share three things on each post and it will range from my current faves that I am crushing on, to thoughts that I have on my mind during the week; things that I’ve been up to recently/upcoming plans that I have, to questions that I’ll answer that you all have sent in. So yes–it’s going to be a bit of a toss up which I think will make it really fun!
NORDSTROM SALE NEEDS
Notice I said needs, not wants. That’s how good the #NSale is. Like I want so, so, so many things [aside from the ones I have already bought]! A good pair of denim is on my list to buy and I haven’t 100% decided on a pair but I’m loving these. I really, really want these booties too because they are under $100 and I think the slit on the sides would make them a really good transition item to have in my closet as we move from Summer to Fall. They would pair so well with little dresses like this and with white denim in the meantime too! Don’t overlook this little gem either–has the same look as a Chloe bag minus the huge price tag. And with the athleisure and lace-up trend still going strong, how can I skip out on these and these?!
PEDALER CAB FUN
Last weekend we had such a fun Saturday night with friends! (All of which you may have seen on Snapchat, ha!) We booked a ride on the Lexington Thirsty Pedaler for my besties birthday and just to make things even more fun she decided we should take on the theme “Ride to Rio”. Hello–themed party? I’m in! As you can see we all had no problem gearing up in our USA outfits! If you have one of these in your city I highly suggest getting some of your favorites together and giving it a try. SO fun!
THE NIGHT OF
I love Bravo. I’m so guilty of watching every show they have to offer. Housewives, Million Dollar Listing, Vanderpump Rules–you name it and it’s on my DVR. However I also like to have a series to watch with Ethan that makes me think and gives us something to chat back and forth about in between episodes. We watched the pilot of The Night Of a couple weeks ago and I am TOTALLY hooked. If you like mysteries then check this one out. It’s about a murder that happens in NYC. The first episode was wild!
