BLACK DENIM SKIRT

Last Thursday + Friday we were in Cincinnati for a wedding. I wore this classic black denim mini skirt and band tee on Friday when we had the morning free to walk.

We had the BEST time celebrating our friends. It was just a really good couple of days that were easy and filled with nothing but good times. The wedding was for Ethan’s oldest friend, Sam, and his wife Rachel. Sam is someone Ethan has been close to since elementary school and went to college with and I could not love his wife more. We have taken countless trips with them and made tons of memories with them over the past few years so we were thrilled be there for their big day. It was a weekend we had been looking forward to for a long time!

Since we were focusing on being present, I don’t have many photos to share but here are bits I have from Friday morning. Ethan and I got up and walked around the OTR area (over-the-rhine). We stopped for coffee, found a place to have a cocktail (I was craving a bloody mary), stopped in a cool modern vintage furniture shop, grabbed macarons to go from the macaron bar and then rode bird scooters (Ethan’s favorite activity) back to the car. After we got back to the hotel we grabbed some mexican to-go from a spot on the corner and began wedding festivities!

This is the outfit I packed to wear during the day on Friday. I knew we would probably do coffee + brunch or something so figured this casual outfit would work.

OUTFIT DETAILS

This skirt is one that I got last year but it is still available and is one that I would recommend. It’s super versatile and I love it with t-shirts!

I actually packed sneakers to wear with this look but ended up throwing on my sandals because they were just easier. I highly suggest this pair! [go up a 1/2 size]

Oh and these fun sunglasses were only $4! They are a fun pair for summer, especially if you are going to be by the water or something and need a pair you don’t have to be careful with!

I hope you all had a good weekend too! After the wedding activities were over we finished the weekend off being pretty lazy. Saturday we kept it low key and lounged from home and had a date night at one of our favorite spots and then Sunday we headed down to the lake house for a ride on my dads new boat! xx
