Friday Eve, y’all! I’m so glad we’re finally on the downhill slope this week–it’s seemed like a long one to me! But the weekend is right around the corner now and I am hoping the weather is nice because we are planning to squeeze a bit of time in at the lake and have a fun Olympic themed event with friends to go to as well. [More on that later!] This outfit is my go-to for a Saturday morning coffee run and all the details are linked below. I love this top and this one is so similar and even a little cuter in my book because of the length. I know I’ll be throwing this top on with leggings and tennies (& maybe even a leather jacket) soon as temperatures get cooler.

I know I’ll be wearing this jacket non-stop this Fall & Winter [most likely with jeans and a casual tee] but I have fallen so in love with it so I want to use it as a transition item too. I love the mix of suede and crochet here (texture upon texture, ahhhh!) and I also love the color of the jacket paired with white. It’s a winner for date night when there might be a bit of a chill in the air. Side Note: The color I have in mine is called Midnight Toker and the one I linked here is called Coffee Bean. They look pretty much identical to me (my exact color is sold out) but I was so excited to find the same jacket in stock in all sizes for you all! I know it has been SUPERRR popular this month–selling like hot cakes! And can we talk about these booties? I have quickly fallen head over heels for them! They’re perfect because they are a neutral shoe but they have some added flare with the color, fringe & silver zipper. I got mine in the color Olive Suede. You’ll be surprised how many times a peep-toe bootie will fit into your wardrobe over the next few months too!
Hope your week is off to a good start! I can’t lie–I am oh so happy to have a short one ahead of me! I can’t wait to head to Asheville!

I guess I am over-wearing this hat, right? Too much? I can’t help it! I love it that much! I do have my eye on this one as well–might have to order it to mix in. I have it paired here with classic black separates and these new André Assous shoes (that you’ve probably seen on my IG). They’re really comfortable and I love the height for daytime wear. I got these Ray-Bans back in February but they have definitely become a summer staple for me because I love how they pair with simple outfits. If you’re searching for a pair then I highly recommend this larger size.
I took a long shower last night and was in bed in my pjs by like 9:30. Granted I was still working away on my laptop for a bit but still–it felt so good! I hope you all are able to hop in bed early one night this week too!

Last week I was on the hunt for a dress for an outdoor wedding and ended up finding this one to order. It was on the perfect material for an outdoor evening because it was light and airy–totally necessary because it ended up being a super hot day! I loved the print && it was on sale [bonus]!
And it turns out I couldn’t buy just one dress because when I was browsing I also came across the knit grey dress above. I love items like this because they’re so versatile in the summer so I actually end up getting a lot of wear out of them. This one can be worn over a bathing suit if you’re headed to the pool, thrown on for dinner outside with cute flip flops or dressed up a little with wedges. Perfect in my book!
This week has seemed looooong to me. Anyone else with me? I am finding myself day dreaming about making it down to the lake. I can’t believe were already into June and we haven’t had a boat ride yet. That’s got to change asap!
If you’re anything like me then you usually end up having a fairly laid back Valentine’s day. My ideal evening would be a cozy dinner and drinks with my love. That being said–I don’t really need a fancy red lace dress or black strappy heels. Although that does sound cute, I doubt I would get much wear out of those pieces. These nude heels and this v-neck sweater however…I definitely will! The sweater is such an easy wear because it’s oversized and it’s actually on sale and an extra 30% off right now too. It comes in other cute colors, but I thought this pink would be a good one for Spring. A pair of nude heels have been on my list to buy foreverrrrrr and I finally found a basic pair this weekend that’s super affordable and surprisingly really comfortable. I’m already thinking about what color I’d like to have next… Oh! And I can’t forget this ruffle wrap because it’s another item that I know I’ll get tons of mileage out of. It’s plenty big and soft! I think I’ll be packing it in my suitcase next week as a travel wrap. (It’s on sale too!)
I hope you all have a Valentine’s Day filled with love–whether you’re heading out to a fancy steakhouse dinner, staying home to cuddle up and watch netflix, or going out with some friends! –Pretty sure one of the years that I had the most fun was when I went to see the Justin Bieber movie (in 3D no less!) with my friends. Go right ahead and judge me…I don’t even mind! 🙂
