And just like that, I am ready for Fall–and it’s all because I found a sweater that I am OBSESSED with. As soon as I saw this Free People number, I added it to my cart and purchased immediately. It is so luxe. The perfect amount of slouch, the amazing soft, velvet-y material and the retro color scheme of the stripes… gives me all sorts of heart eyes! It’s even better in person too. [wearing an xs]
I paired it with my favorite denim shorts and mules here for an evening at our lake house, but I cannot wait to wear it with black jeans and sneakers. And how cute will it be with a black mini skirt and tall boots? Dying.
After a recent closet clean out, I took a look at some of the sweaters I kept and am still really excited to wear again this year. It got me thinking about quality vs quantity. I want to make sure the sweaters I spend money on this year will be ones that are of substance, ones that I will want to have still around in 2018 and beyond. This one certainly fits the bill!
Turns out, this is not the only ahh-maze Free People sweater that is out already this year either. How good are these?!
Ok, now I am ready for weekends with warm lattes and red wine! ha! Who’s with me?
Oh, and ps–totally unrelated but this made me so happy last night so I had to share. I tried the ClickList service Kroger offers now, the one where you can place and pay for your order online and then select a time to pick it up from the store. LIFE CHANGER! I have no idea why I waited this long to give it a try. (Especially since the grocery puts me in a horrrrible mood.) It’s going to save me so much time, money and stress! Comparing prices online is so much easier than dodging people in the aisles trying to see the tags and I think I will make less trips this way too because I will get multiple of things that I normally wouldn’t because I wanted to avoid carrying it. Seriously, give it a try and let me know what you think.

Goodness–I do not know why it took me so long to buy this sweatshirt! I saw it online a while back and I liked it but I never pulled the trigger. But, I ended up buying it last week and it came in on Friday and I could NOT love it more. See, here’s the beauty of it… it feels like a comfy sweatshirt but it looks like a cute sweater becuase of the cut, fit and caaaa-ute sleeves! Perfection. [wearing an xs]
&& here’s the other thing, I cannot believe I bought it in red. So not me, at all! But for some reason I loved this color with the texture. I wore it to brunch yesterday with these fur mules that are getting lots of wear. They’re easy & fun! If you’re not into the faux fur then these are a great option too!

I wore this outfit to brunch this past Sunday (Bloody Mary bar, ummm yummm) and I loved it because it was comfy and casual yet the faux fur and soft sweater made me feel put together. We snapped these pictures on the way downtown and it was so, so windy! We barely got any that I could even use because everytime I stood up my hair blew across my face and I looked like a hot mess. Ha!
However–I am in love with both these mules and this sweater so I had to share. I feel like I would be doing a disservice to you all if I didn’t let you know how perfect this sweater is. It is SUCH a good basic to have and so soft. I got it in two colors on Saturday and I wore one that night, one to brunch the next day and even threw one back on to wear on Monday all day. So, needless to say–it’s worth the $20. Ha! [wearing a small]
Also, totally crushing on these mules with faux fur inside. Heaven on your feet! If you order I would suggest sizing up. [wearing an 8]

I’ll take you through a couple of things that I am totally crushing over!
Both this top and this top are in a section of the website called soft knits so that alone makes me want to order! But they are also 40% off this weekend because the whole site is on sale and look like they would pair great with leggings, a vest and some tennies. That’s my [super casual] uniform once the temps drop.
I’m also wanting this little basic number to pair with scarves. It would be great for work or play.
After hearing all the hype about the new arrivals at Abercrombie I gave a pair of jeans a try and ended up LOVING them. So now I am dying for these. They scream weekend to me! && I love that this pair is mid-rise and a straight cut. I would give them a raw hem myself by snipping off the bottom.
How cute is this stripe number?! Only $50 too.
I just got this choker in and I love it but now I am really wanting one in this burgundy color too.
I am dying for a pair of mules to wear with ankle jeans (particularly these) but this pair is cute and more affordable!
I think these pants would be so cute for an office setting. The cut would be flattering too!
&& lastly–I really want this off the shoulder sweater and this low back sweater. Both are perfect for the weekends and could be worn casually or dressed up depending on what you pair them with.
