Growing up I never liked the color red. In the past few years I’ve had one [maybe two, at the most] red items in my closet that I usually pull out a couple weeks before Christmas. However, this year–I am LOVING a bright, bold, festive red! You know how they say your taste buds change as you grow up? Well, my birthday was yesterday so I’m thinking this must prove to be true in terms of shopping tastes too! I keep seeing red items show up in my online shopping cart and I cant wait to wear them all December long. I’m thinking I’ll love pairing it with bright pink in February too!

For me, Christmas day has always been a casual day spent with family. We spend way too much time on the couch opening gifts and go back and forth to the kitchen way too many times to grab snacks so I always like to be cozy and comfy.
