EASY DINNER LOOK

Something that always comes in handy for me are easy, go-to items that I can throw on for casual evening looks.

We usually go to dinner on Monday nights with my Dad. I love getting out on a Monday because it helps us ease into the week and gives me a good excuse to not have groceries or a dinner plan for something at home until Tuesday.

But, I do like to keep it casual and effortless when dressing for a dinner out during the week. If I have to fuss over what to wear, it takes the joy out of going. (On the weekend, that is a totally different story! I am always ready to throw on heels and feel more together!)

Cute flats and an oversized button down are great items to have on hand! They can make a VERY relaxed look seem a bit more intentional and acceptable.

OUTFIT DETAILS

TOP Mine is old. I got it at H&M last summer. If I see it restock I will let you all know. I did find one that looks like a great alternative though. It’s linked in this post for you all to check out.

JEANS     You can see my exact pair HERE but they are sold out so I linked a pair that is a similar style from a retailer I also love.

SHOES These flats are such winners. They have calf hair on them, which I love, and they have a fun detail on the heel. Isn’t the gunmetal detail so cute? I like how it gives them an edge. Plus the slingback and pointed toe make them seem very current.

SUNGLASSES My aviators are old but I liked a similar pair. I have a lot of sunglases from that brand, so I know they are great!

I hope your alls Monday wasn’t bad! And if it was, try our trick and just go out for dinner and have a glass of wine. Let yourself ease back into the week! xx
