WEEKEND RECAP

We spent the weekend in Nashville for my cousins wedding. Here are some snippets:

I was looking forward to the trip because we vowed to make it a chill weekend. Unfortunately, that also meant that I did a very bad job documenting. Sorry!

We stayed at the Cambria Hotel and the location was PERFECT. Right downtown and they have a huge bar on the 5th floor and a large restaurant on the first. I would love to come back and stay here again in the summer because the rooftop pool seems like the highlight of the hotel!

Friday night we kept it easy since we got in late and just went downstairs to NashHouse and had dinner and drinks and listened to live music.

Saturday we walked to get coffee, had a bloody mary at the hotel in the TRUE Music Room and bar then ventured back out for lunch before ending the night at the wedding.

We binged a podcasts on in the car on the way there and back. We landed on Over My Dead Body and I’d recommend it!

Something that I am determined to get better with is packing minimally. I am making it one of my big goals for the year. I only took a small carryon suitcase and it worked out perfectly. Here is what I packed for the weekend:

I wore my dress and shoes from our rehearsal dinner again. I’m so glad I invested in pieces for that that I will get a ton of wear out of. This Halston Heritage Ruched V-Neck Long-Sleeve Gown is my dress (I got an xs and hemmed it to right above my ankles) and these white patent leather pumps are very similar to my Stuart Weitzman Chicster pair that are sold out.

Hope you all had a good weekend too! I’m hoping for some walks outside and a little bit warmer weather this week.
